This century is a completely technology driven. Our home appliances have shifted from coal to electricity. We never realise, how much technology we are surrounded with, in the kitchen itself. Be it toasters, ovens, gas stoves and not to miss the kettle! Everything is innovated by the mega brains.
The most interesting is the electric kettle. That coil technology is really amazing! I bought one and tea has never been so easy to make! Get steaming hot boiling tea, and the add on is that I can carry it around. The boiler has a heating pad and no chord attached. So I just make it once and it remains warm for a long time. These magical boilers are a boon, especially for offices and hotels. Even for the bachelors who are in a constant need of coffee or tea. Otherwise too, Indians simply love tea so this product is go-get! Further, they are economically priced so that everyone can have the easy trick! Low on electricity usage and the automation feature is wonderful. It turns off when it the water level is quite low. Such visage and such low prices, you ought to have it! It isn’t difficult to find the best electric kettle but just make sure that you have the latest one.
Another thing that amazes me in the kitchen is the mixer grinder. My mother uses it every day. I sometimes imagine what the homemakers would do without these stirs! The speed controlling feature is just amazing. For hard items it comes handy like coconut, almonds and walnuts. Also because of this boon, simply fantastic!
We don’t appreciate all this much but seriously if all of this vanishes, we will go a century back! Even the ironing machine, the microwave; all are blessing in disguise, especially for the homemakers. These innovations shouldn’t stop and keep easing out the chores because there is already a lot work for the Indian women. No generalizing, even men cook; but in majority of homes it’s the women. So for all the working women who constantly work either at office or homes; these things help her take of time and relax. That is how technology should for a better living so that we save time for ourselves. Hats off to such appliances!
